Book of Saints – Cyrinus, Primus and Theogenes

(January 3) (Saints) Martyrs (4th century) Martyrs at Cyzicus on the Hellespont, under the Emperor Licinius (A.D. 320). They were soldiers in the Imperial army and preferred to die rather than to share in the idolatrous sacrifices at which the troops were compelled to assist. Saint Theogenes in particular has from early times been in great veneration both in the East and in the West.
