Book of Saints – Cyril – 22 July

CYRIL (Saint) Bishop (July 22) (3rd century) The successor of Timaeus (A.D. 280) in the Patriarchate of Antioch. He was conspicuous both for piety and for learning. Like other prelates of his age, he had much to endure from the enemies of Christianity, but appears to have passed away in peace about A.D. 300.
