Book of Saints – Cummian Fada

CUMMIAN FADA (Saint) Abbot (November 12) (7th century) A Columbian monk, Abbot of the monastery of Kilcummin (King’s County). In the disputes about the date of Easter he was a strenuous upholder of the Roman system of calculation. He died A.D. 662. Some think that he is identical with Saint Cummian, Bishop of Clonfert.
