Book of Saints – Crispin


CRISPIN (Saint) Bishop Martyr (November 19) (4th century) A Bishop of Ecija (Astiage) in Andalusia (Spain), beheaded as a Christian under the persecuting Emperor Maximian Herculeus at the beginning of the fourth century. Saint Crispin is honoured with a special office in the old Spanish or Mozarabic Breviary and Missal.
