CRESCENTIUS (Saint) Martyr (September 14) (4th century) A boy only eleven years of age, the son of Saint Euthymius, who, brought from Perugia to Rome, bravely confessed Christ during the great persecution under Diocletian, and was spared neither torture nor death. He was beheaded, and probably with him his mother also (A.D. 300).
