Book of Saints – Crescentianus – 24 November


CRESCENTIANUS (Saint) Martyr (November 24) (4th century) A Christian who suffered in company with Saints Cyriacus, Largus and Smaragdus, expiring on the rack in their sight at Rome under the tyrant Maxentius (A.D. 309). We learn this much from the Acts of Pope Saint Marcellus. A Translation of the Relics of Saint Crescentianus in the ninth century is recorded.
