Book of Saints – Caius, Faustus, Eusebius, Chêremon, Lucius and Others


CAIUS, FAUSTUS, EUSEBIUS, CHÊREMON, LUCIUS and OTHERS (Saints) Martyrs (October 4) (3rd century) Victims at Alexandria in Egypt of the persecution under Valerian (A.D. 257). Caius and Faustus are probably the Saints of those names commemorated with Saint Dionysius of Alexandria, their Bishop, on October 3. Eusebius, a deacon, survived to become Bishop of Laodicea, and died A.D. 269. Chaeremon, who had already suffered under Decius, was sent into exile. Of Lycius nothing certain is known.
