Book of Saints – Bernard – 12 March


BERNARD (Saint) Bishop (March 12) (12th century) A Bishop of Carinola in the Italian Province called Terra di Lavoro, a suffragan See of Capua, now united to the Bishopric of Sessa, which Saint Bernard himself had transferred from the ancient city of Forum Claudii. He died in extreme old age at Capua (A.D. 1109), and is still famous for the miracles wrought at his tomb.
