Book of Saints – Baya and Maura

(Saints) Virgins (November 2) (10th century) Two holy Recluses in Scotland, Saint Baya being the instructress of Saint Maura, and the latter becoming the guide of a fervent community which attached itself to her. There is some doubt whether or not Saint Baya may not be identical with Saint Begha or Saint Bee, a Saint much better known.
