(Saint) Bishop, Martyr (December 3) (3rd century) A Bishop of Nice in the middle of the third century. Tortured by the President Perennius, under the Emperors Decius and Valerian, he at length was put to death about A.D. 257 by having his body transfixed by two huge nails or spikes.
