Book of Saints – Baldwin


BALDWIN (Saint) Martyr (January 8) (7th century) Archdeacon of Laon in the time of Dagobert I, King of France. He was a son of Saint Salaberga and brother of Saint Anstrude, Abbess of Laon. He was murdered about A.D. 680, in circumstances which have led to his being honoured as a martyr.
