Book of Saints – Auspicius

AUSPICIUS (Saint) Bishop (July 8) (2nd century) He is said to have been the fourth Bishop of Treves and successor to Saint Maternus (about A.D. 130). Some authorities, however, assert his identity with Saint Auspicius, the fifth century Bishop of Toul. Again, some refer to him as a Martyr, others simply as a Confessor.
