ATTALAS (Saint) Abbot. (March 10) (7th century) The second Abbot of the famous Abbey of Bobbio in Lombardy, disciple and successor of Saint Columbanus, whom he had followed into exile from Luxeuil, and near whose tomb he was buried (A.D. 627).
