Book of Saints – Aphrodisius, Caralippus, Agapitus and Eusebius

APHRODISIUS, CARALIPPUS, AGAPITUS and EUSEBIUS (Saints) Martyrs (April 28) (1st century) According to the Martyrology of the Saints of France, Saint Aphrodisius sheltered the Holy Family during their flight into Egypt, and after the Ascension joined the disciples, attaching himself to Saint Peter. Later he travelled with Saint Paul and finally became the Apostle of Languedoc (France), where he was put to death for the Faith with the three of his followers named above. There is, however, an opinion that this holy Bishop, though undoubtedly one of the Apostles of Gaul, lived one or two centuries later.
