Book of Saints – Alnoth


ALNOTH (Saint) Martyr (November 25) (7th century) A poor serving man in Saint Werburgh’s monastery at Chester, who embraced the life of an anchoret in Northamptonshire and was put to death by evil-doers towards the end of the seventh century. His sanctity was borne witness to bv many miracles.
