ALFRICK (Saint) Bishop (November 16) (10th century) An Abbot of Abingdon, afterwards Archbishop of Canterbury (A.D. 995- A.D. 1006), distinguished for the holiness of his life and for his able government of his Church in the critical times of the Danish invasion of Kent.
