AGRICOLA (AREGLE, AGRELE) (Saint) Bishop (March 17) (6th century) A holy Bishop of Chalon-sur-Saone, zealous for the spiritual good of his flock and for the orderly performance of Divine service. He took part in several French Church Councils. Saint Gregory of Tours enlarges upon the austerity of his private life. He died A.D. 580, at the age of eighty-three.
