Book of Saints – Abraham


ABRAHAM (ABRAAMES) (St.) Bp. (Feb. 14) (5th cent.) A famous Solitary of Mount Lebanon, who, as Bishop of Carrhes (Charan), showed himself a zealous pastor of souls and, later, did much work useful to the Church at the Court of the Emperor Theodosius the Younger. He died at Constantinople, A.D. 422.
