ABBAN of MAGH-ARMUIDHE (St.) (Oct. 27) Abbot. (6th cent.) A nephew of St. Kevin, and Founder of many monasteries, mostly in the South of Ireland. Butler and others confuse the two Saints Abban. Of neither have we reliable Lives.
