Member of the Redemptorists, professing his vows on 8 September 1895. Ordained a priest on 23 March, 1901, over the next 11 years he was assigned as pastor to several Redemptorist communities in Spain. In 1912, he was assigned to the Shrine of Perpetual Help in Madrid, Spain where he was still serving at the Spanish Civil War in 1936. Knowing that the Marxists had orders to kill priests on sight, Father Vicente hid in the homes of a series of supportive families, but on 17 September 1936 he was found by the Marxist troops, imprisoned in a series of their strongholds, and finally murdered. Martyr.
