Studied at the Jesuit School of the Sacred Heart. Member of the Domincans. Ordained a priest in 1931. Assigned to a working class area of Almería, Spain with a mission to preach. On 21 July 1936, at the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, he and Blessed Tomás Morales y Morales fled the antiCatholic Communist milita, but were found on the road, imprisoned on the ship Astoy Mendi for several weeks, and then executed. Martyr.
