Blessed Angelina of Spoleto

Born to the Italian nobility; her father‘s name was Antonio. She became a Poor Clare nun c.1440 at the Sante Lucia convent in Spoleto, Italy. She was known for her ascetic lifestyle, self denial, love of prayer, and devotion to praying for souls in purgatory. During a serious illness she was miraculously healed by an apparition of Saint Clare of Assisi.
