Notes
From the 10th century, the archbishops enjoyed the title of count and the privilege of coining money, and levying arms. In 999 they obtained their important prerogative, the coronation of the kings, which they held until the time of Charles X. In the wake of the French Revolution, the archdiocese was suppressed on 29 November 1801, but was restored on 6 October 1822.
