Archconfraternity of the Holy Face


Established at Tours, France in 1884, through the piety of Leo Dupont, for the prevention of blasphemy and the observance of Sunday. The insignia of the brotherhood is the Face of the Suffering Saviour on the veil of Saint Veronica, worn by the members on a scapular, cross, or medal.
