The Holiness of the Church in the Nineteenth Century – Venerable Anna Maria Lapini

The Venerable Anna Maria Lapini – died 1860 – rendered great service at Florence to the cause of popular education in Italy. She was the foundress of the Sisters of the Blessed Wounds, a Third Order of the Capuchins, who, in addition to works of charity, devote themselves especially to the education of girls.
