The Venerable Adeodata Pisani brought new glory to the old Maltese patrician family of that name. She was first novice-mistress and then abbess of the convent of the Benedictine Nuns at Notabili in Malta and died at the age of forty-eight on 25 February 1855, with the reputation of great sanctity.
