Member of the School Sisters of Saint Francis. Studied mathematics and physics at the Charles University in Prague, Bohemia (modern Czech Republic). Taught at the school run by the Sisters until 1950 when the Communist government outlawed religious orders. Elected superior general of the Sisters in Rome, Italy in 1969 and 1975. Returning to Czechoslovakia in 1983, she served in the charity home in Hoješín until her death. Her Cause for Canonization was opened in 2001.
