Fifth-century bishop of Romatia; we don’t know exactly where that was, but the best guess is modern Aquileia, Italy. Wrote a series of works directed to new Christians, explaining the faith and how to live it. May have been the Nicaeus who was the recipient of a series of letters from Pope Leo the Great in 458.
