Scottish prince, son of King Kenneth II. He led a life of vice until his conversion. Married, and the father of at least one son. Widowed, he abdicated his position, founded a monastery at Govan on the river Clyde, became a monk there, and evangelized the region. Priest. Spiritual student of Saint Columba and Saint Kentigern. Abbot a monastery in Govan, Scotland. Martyr.
