(Atilanus) (c.939-1009) Confessor, Bishop of Zamora, born Tarazona, Spain; died Zamora. He founded, together with Saint Froilan II of Leon, the monastery of Moreruela, on the banks of the Esla. Canonized by Urban II, 1095. Relics in Saint Peter’s church, Zamora, Feast, 5 October.
