Popularly Mogue (Mo-Aedh-og, my dear Aedh), first Bishop of Ferns, born Inisbrefny, Ireland, c.550; died Ferns, Ireland, 632. He founded 30 churches in Wexford and was given nominal supremacy over the Leinster bishops by the title of Ard-Escop (High Bishop). Patron of Ferns. Feast, 31 January.
