Mary, mediatrix of all graces

A title of our blessed Lady, expressive of the doctrine that all graces come to us from Christ through the hands of Mary. A feast of this title was granted to the dioceses of Belgium, at the request of Cardinal Mercier, by Benedict XV, 12 January 1921. The feast is also celebrated in Spain. The doctrine of Mary Mediatrix, now the common teaching of theologians, is being favorably considered for definition as a dogma of faith.
