Calendar of Scottish Saints – Saint Comman, A.D. 688


18 March. He was the brother of Saint Cumine, Abbot of Iona, and therefore of Irish descent. Like him, too, he became a monk at Iona. The parish of Kilchoman, Islay, takes its name from this saint.
