(Saint) King, Martyr (June 1) (9th century) A Mercian Prince, a youth of saintly life, treacherously murdered at a place called after him Winstow (Wistow) in Leicestershire, for his zeal in upholding Church discipline (A.D. 850). His shrine was in Evesham Abbey.
