(Saint) Abbot (August 13) (8th century) An Anglo-Saxon monk who followed Saint Boniface in his Apostolate of Germany. He was placed at the head of the Abbey of Tritzlar in Hesse. He died A.D. 747; and a generation later his sacred remains were translated by Saint Lullus to Hirschfeld.
