(Saint) (January 13) (5th century) A Palestinian of Samaria who was converted to Christianity and ordained priest. He travelled to the West and became a disciple of Saint Hilary of Poitiers. He closed his life as a hermit under the direction of the Abbot of a monastery near Poitiers, some time in the fifth century. The tradition is that he died a centenarian.
