(Saints) Martyrs (March 23) (5th century) Victorianus had been Pro-consul in Africa, and his fellow-sufferers were wealthy merchants of Carthage. They, like their humbler brethren, fell victims to the fury of the Arian Vandals, were put to the torture, and in the end done to death, bravely confessing Christ to be the Son of God (A.D. 484).
