Book of Saints – Tryphenna and Tryphosa

(Saints) (November 10) (1st century) The Christians mentioned by Saint Paul in writing to the Romans (16:12). They were, it would seem, of Iconium in Lycaonia, and had settled in Rome, where perhaps they discharged the duties of deaconesses. Tradition represents them as protectresses of the Virgin Saint Thecla.
