(Saint) Martyr (November 7) (6th century) A Breton Saint, the son of Saint Triphina, and educated by Saint Gildas. While still a youth, he was murdered in the monastery of Bhuys (Morbihan) by his inhuman father, a chieftain of the district. miracles were wrought at his tomb. We find him invoked, together with his mother, Saint Triphina, in seventh century English Litanies.
