(Saint) Bishop (March 5) (2nd century) A Bishop of Caesarea in Palestine and a prominent opponent of the Quartodecimans, who insisted on keeping Easter on the Jewish Passover Day, whether it were a Sunday or not. He died about A.D. 195. Both Eusebius and Saint Jerome speak admiringly of the holiness of his life.
