(August 2) (Saints) Martyrs (4th century) A Christian lady in Bithynia (Asia Minor) who is associated by tradition with the Martyr Saint Anastasia and, like her, suffered death in the persecution under Diocletian at the beginning of the fourth century. Saint Theodota‘s son, Evodius, with his two younger brothers, bravely imitated their holy mother. All appear to have perished at the stake.
