(Saint) (January 11) (6th century) A Cappadocian Christian who embraced the life of a Solitary in Palestine, and there founded a famous monastery near the Laura of Saint Sabbas. On account of this he acquired the title of the “Cenobiarch.” He died A.D. 529.
