(Saint) (December 28) (4th century) An Abbot of Tabenna and one of the most famous of the “Fathers of the Desert.” He had been trained to the vocation of a Solitary by the great Founder, Saint Pacomius, in whose Life (a classic of its kind) mention of Saint Theodore often recurs. The latter died April 27, A.D. 367. The Greeks keep his Feast on May 16, the Latins on December 28.
