(Saint) Martyr (December 21) (3rd century) A Christian in Lycia (Asia Minor) who, on seeing the Martyr Saint Dioscurus put to the torture, offered himself to suffer in his place. Both were thereupon racked, scourged and beheaded together (A.D. 253).
