(Saint) Bishop (April 14) (5th century) One of Saint Patrick‘s earliest disciples and Irish converts. Saint Tassach was appointed Bishop of Raholp (Down). He was a skilful artisan and manufactured croziers, crosses and shrines for Saint Patrick. He had the privilege of administering the Holy Viaticum to the dying Apostle, whom he survived till towards the close of the fifth century.
