(Saint) Martyr (December 12) (3rd century) A Roman Martyr beheaded under Aurelian (A.D. 275). He was a Lector or Reader, to which office he had been ordained by Pope Saint Xystus II some fifteen years previously. The Greeks give a detailed account of his sufferings in their Menaea.
