(Saint) Bishop (September 29) (6th century) A Bishop of Bourges (France) who died A.D. 591. He was very zealous for Church discipline, and is said to have been a learned man and to have written both in prose and in verse; but he must not be confused either with the priest-historian Sulpicius Severus (4th century) or with his own immediate successor, Sulpicius Pius (7th century).
