(Saint) (March 15) (6th century) One of the first Benedictine monks and Founder of the monastery of the Order at Terracina, between Rome and Naples, on the Mediterranean coast of Italy. Saint Gregory the Great tells of his holy life and of the wonders wrought by Almighty God at the moment of his death, in witness to his sanctity.
