Book of Saints – Sosthenes

(Saint) (November 28) (1st century) The ruler of the synagogue of Corinth (Acts 18:17), who became a disciple of Saint Paul, and is probably the “brother” mentioned in 1 Corinthians 1:1. Some say that Sosthenes was afterwards made a Bishop, and that he ended his life by martyrdom.
