Book of Saints – Sosipater


(Saint) (June 25) (2nd century) A kinsman and disciple of Saint Paul (Romans 16:21). He accompanied the Apostle on some of his journeys, and tradition connects his later life with the island of Corfu. He is other than the Sopater of Acts 20, who was of Bercea and a disciple and companion of the same Apostle.
